dotNear, a Romanian application development provider, announced today that it expects its revenues for 2014 to increase by 40% compared to the 2013 results. The company, which specializes in nearshore agile software development also said it would exceed the 100 employees mark by the end of the year.
dotNear attributes the projected growth to consolidation of its current nearshore development dedicated teams, as well as to securing several new development projects in Denmark and the Netherlands.
“We are excited about the current expansion that we are seeing right now, and know that growth feeds on growth. It is our ambition to make a lasting and positive impact on the Romanian software development market”, said Mihai-Daniel Popa, Managing Director of dotNear.
During the past 12 months, the company has shifted its focus towards agile development teams working nearshore from Romania, moving away from sending engineers to work onsite in their customers’ offices.
“Nearshore agile development is what we do best, and this is how we can add more value to our projects. There are many companies out there who can find a good developer, but implementing true agility in a nearshore application development team is where the true difference is made”, added Popa.
